With over a decade of extensive AI and FinTech leadership experience, Nathan has a proven track record in developing complex payment systems and cutting-edge banking solutions. His key achievements include serving as CTO for Parpera, where he built Australia's first Banking-as-a-Service Neo-bank, and as CTO for Zeux, where he delivered real-time, zero-fee crypto payments. Thordis Bjork Sigurbjornsdottir is a seasoned business leader with over 25 years of experience in building high-performance teams, raising capital, and driving results through periods of transition and uncertainty. She has a proven track record of scaling businesses across the real estate, technology, and mining sectors, including growing the NAV of a high-end residential portfolio by over 40% as CEO of Vicis Venture. Her entrepreneurial success is further highlighted by her role as the founder and seed investor of Billboard.is, Iceland's leading digital outdoor advertising company, and her ability to revitalize businesses such as the organic brand Lifandi Markaður.
An expert in operational transformation and strategic growth, Thordis previously led a cultural and digital overhaul at Icelandair that successfully improved customer response KPIs from 57% to 96%. Her extensive background in international project coordination includes supporting business development for a €500m digital-asset hedge fund and leading capital-raising efforts for large-scale infrastructure projects.
